Bought in January as my wife has gone back to work full time and we needed a second car. She has now been offered a company car so we no longer need the mini. During the time we have owned it we have had the battery replaced at a cost of £190, 4 new tyres about a month ago, the camber adjusted for an even wear on the tyres, track rod ends, upgraded headlight bulbs and new centre cap mini logo stickers, and a genuine mini aerial as it was missing when we bought the car. The bodywork does show signs of wear but this is to be expected as the car is 15yrs old.
The car has a long MOT and had been used since January purely for motorway miles. Lastly there is an oxygen sensor that needs replacing I’ve been quoted £30 for the part and approximately £60 labour. Doesn’t affect the driving but some times on start up it feels as though the car will cut out after a few seconds it’s fine. Best to mention it though.
