Review of 2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid

The 2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Executive is a mid-cycle refresh of the already impressive Panamera line. This version of the car offers drivers something truly unique, with all wheel drive, turbocharged power and a plug-in hybrid vehicle configuration. The car features a twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V-6 engine that provides 325 horsepower and is paired with an electric powertrain for a combined system output of 560 horsepower. This level of power allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, which is quick for a luxury sedan. Additionally, the car features an all-wheel drive system, making it adept in wet and slippery conditions. The interior of the car is spacious and luxurious, with comfortable seating for five passengers and plenty of room for cargo. The exterior design is sleek and modern, with a classic Porsche look that has been updated to keep up with today's trends. With its performance, luxury and style, the 2021 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Executive is the perfect combination of sportiness and practicality.

The Porsche Panamera is a remarkable marriage of performance and luxury, showcasing the best of both worlds. The latest iteration, the Panamera Turbo, has improved on the showroom figures of its predecessor by a wide margin. On top of that, Porsche continues to pursue their E-Performance line – the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid is a new addition to the range of hybrid models, boasting an impressive 412 kW (560 PS) engine output. Compared to earlier iterations, this one has had its all-electric range increased by about 30 percent – thanks to improved chassis components and control systems coupled with modern steering wheels and controls.

The remarkable Porsche Panamera Turbo S has been engineered with a power yield of 463 kW (630 PS) and 820 newton meters of torque; providing an increase in power of 59 kW (80 PS) and 50 Nm more torque than its predecessor. This is reflected in the performance of the vehicle, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 minutes when Sport Plus mode is engaged. The natural four-litre V8 bi-turbo engine produced both at Weissach and Zuffenhausen, was extensively engineered to ensure the vehicle reaches its maximum speed of 315 km/h.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo S is designed to provide drivers with the ultimate in luxury and performance. It features an advanced three-chamber air suspension, as well as Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport). The latter two components work together in order to ensure maximum cornering performance and optimal ride comfort. Additionally, the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) system has been modified to each specific version in order to provide enhanced traction and improved handling characteristics. In addition, the vehicle's immense power is kept in check by a sophisticated seven-speed PDK transmission for smooth gear changes and optimized acceleration.

The Porsche Panamera GTS is equipped with a powerful and compact V8 bi-turbo engine that has been designed to deliver superior power output. Thanks to its superior engineering, the engine can increase its performance up to its maximum rpm limit, providing the driver with remarkable acceleration and speed. In addition, thanks to a specially designed sports exhaust system with asymmetrically placed rear silencers, the typical V8 sound characteristics are even more pronounced.

The all-new Porsche Panamera and Panamera 4 are now equipped with a powerful 2.9-litre V6 bi-turbo engine, allowing for maximum performance across various sectors. The body and control systems of the new models have been designed and engineered to deliver a thrilling driving experience while still ensuring utmost comfort. To achieve this, a range of advanced features and technologies have been implemented—including adaptive air suspension, active roll stabilization, electrical all-wheel drive, rear axle steering, and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control.

The Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid is a revolutionary addition to the world of directing tires and control. Combining the power of advanced hybrid technology with traditional German engineering, this model offers a maximum speed of 298 km/h, making it one of the fastest cars in its class. The battery capacity has been increased from 14.1 to 17.9 kWh, which means that the driving modes have been optimized for more efficient use of energy. The car also has an all-electric range of up to 54 kilometres according to WLTP EAER Town (NEDC: around 64 kilometres).

The all-new Porsche Panamera models - either the Sport Turismo or Executive with the extended wheelbase, depending on the drivetrain configuration - come outfitted with the optional and stylish Sport Design front fascia, boasting bold air intakes, prominent side vents, and a signature unified bar headlight module. Its aerodynamic exterior is enhanced by the distinctively designed LED headlights, LED rear lights and 20-inch alloy wheels. The cabin also features an array of technology systems, such as Porsche Communication Management (PCM), heated seats, a panoramic sunroof, Apple CarPlay integration, and wireless charging for mobile devices. The sleek, sophisticated exterior of the Panamera Turbo S has a striking presence thanks to its larger side air entrances and carefully considered design elements. The dual Turbo front lights have been moved further apart, creating an even more impactful aesthetic that accentuates the vehicle's impressive dimensions. This bold new look is sure to make a statement wherever it goes.

The newly designed LED taillight clusters of the GTS models are equipped with dynamic coming/leaving home capability, giving a seamless and uninterrupted flow between the two. For added visual appeal, the back is fitted with a patched-up light strip that has been reshaped to cover the equipment compartment. Furthermore, three brand new wheels in 20- and 21-inch sizes have been added to the range, bringing the total number of wheel options available up to 10.

The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) offers a plethora of advanced features and services, such as the sophisticated Voice Pilot voice controller that enables users to control their vehicle by speaking commands, Risk Radar for up-to-date traffic signs and danger alert information, as well as various Connect services including the ability to connect with Apple® CarPlay remotely. Additionally, PCM offers a range of multimedia and entertainment functions such as access to online services, Bluetooth audio streaming and more. With the latest version of PCM, users can also customize their driving experience through various profile settings that adjust vehicle systems like air suspension and chassis control.
